Have you ever sucked in your stomach because you felt ashamed that it wasn’t tighter? Have you ever flexed your legs that way your calves look smaller? Have you ever not eaten for an entire day because you thought you were eating too much? I have. I’ve done all of these things and more. Body image is a constant topic and thought in the back of every person’s mind. We think about it all the time, but in the wrong way. Our lives have become centered around this idea of a “perfect body”. This so called achievement of “perfect” should not be what we’re working towards. We should be working towards creating a world without this hierarchy of body image. The world is an imperfect place, so why should we be any different? Flaws are normal. Everyone has them and they should be accepted rather than excluded and treated as a disease. The world has created a stigma of body image where it’s seen as “cocky” rather than healthy. Being showy about your body is different than embracing your body, but both are perfectly fine and should be accepted. If you’re confident about yourself, keep doing you. This website probably won’t change your life, so I’m talking to those people who sit a specific way so their thighs look smaller. I fall into this category which is the main reason for making this website. I want to use my own journey to help inspire others to begin a journey of self-acceptance.
91% OF WOMEN ARE UNHAPPY WITH THEIR BODIES IT’S UP TO US TO CHANGE THAT START WITH YOURSELF & INSPIRE OTHERS
